From what I've seen so far, I'm inclined to agree.įrom what I've seen that Deponia dude was a horrible mixture of unlikeable and a loser with a heart of gold. The reviewer describes in the comment sections how he enjoys misanthropic characters, when they're interesting characters, and he doesn't think that's the case in this game. You probably like the terrible Deponia main character as well, I take it? It's like a mix between preoccupied and slow.
That RPS review isn't worth much, as the reviewer obviously was in the mood for destruction and also seems to be quite, in Germany there is a word for it, "bräsig", which means that someone is not willing to let any other ideas others than his on own into his system. I find Malachi's bad manners and arrogance quite refreshing. Look, he's got a guitar he never plays: "Aww, he is just like you, player!" I don't get this at all, what do they want?
